Cross-vendor reading that applies to all of them: WDDM, HAGS and MPO, driver rollback, and GPUs in a VM.

  • Tier A means the vendor ships Windows client/server drivers and Microsoft supports the platform combination in the ordinary way.
  • Tier B does not mean “bad”. It means the support path is narrower: Hygon is not certified by Microsoft, and Moore Threads’ Windows gaming stack is still maturing. We say that before we say “install this”.
  • A vendor page can be useful without a benchmark. Driver branch, install order, rollback and known issues are content too.
  • Publish a “best GPU” ranking from affiliate data.
  • Present a passthrough-VM result as a bare-metal result.
  • Copy a vendor driver into a “driver pack”.
  • Claim Hygon is officially supported because Windows boots.
